FS: Full Collector's Set Rolex GMT Pepsi Ref 16700 Custard Dial
This watch was sold but is now available again. The post below from my original but with a new updated time stamp. Watch condition remains unchanged and I will gladly provide more to interested folks
TRF, For your consideration today is a full set Rolex 16700 GMT-Master, the last of the original GMT Master! This piece is special for its history and provenance. As a GMT snob, I am most proud of this GMT of all many I've sourced. I purchased it as a personal piece from the original owner last year but haven't found myself wearing it more than my beaters. Watch is in good shape, it is a full set down (blank punched warranty papers) to the original purchase receipt (with matching serial #), as if you're purchasing it from the AD yourself in 1995 Watch has the appropriate tritium dial and has a gorgeous patina on the dial. Case has been polished in its life but not over polished. Bracelet is also in excellent tight condition (no stretch in band) and clasp snaps shut tightly. Bezel action feels and functions as it should. Please view photos of the watch for condition, I will happily provide more photos or videos of the watch upon request. Original owner informed that watch hands are original and a local vintage watch expert has confirmed this for me (happy to talk/educate more on this point). The light hands are appropriate for this era. The watch has also seen a movement-only overhaul service on the watch in April. Also, it has been through the pressure and vacuum test. See receipts. 100% authentic. Numerous references available on TRF and Reddit under the same username. Asking price is 11,999 shipped CONUS with insurance. All reasonable offers will be considered but my unofficial policy is that negotiations will be over the phone. I am not in a hurry to sell this piece. This set is really as complete as near vintage watch will get and therefore I don't think this is for someone who only wants the cheapest 16700/16710 on the market. Includes: Rolex Box Outer Boxes Warranty Papers (Completely blank punched papers, N serial) All Instruction Booklets Hang Tag Serial Tag Service receipt Original 1995/96 Calendar Card Original 1995 purchase receipt (matching serial #) Original 1995 Authentication receipt from Rolex Original vintage catalogs (price booklets, info booklets, etc) Please feel free to message me for more questions. Happy to go over anything over call or text! I am not affiliated with Rolex. Possibly my favorite Rolex movement, 3175 New shots with updated stamp! |
