I sold an SD4K and later bought an SBGA231, which is the titanium brother of the 229 you mention. The wearability of the Ti is amazing, as it weighs in at about 130g with the bracelet. That’s about 30g less than a sub. The 229 weighs closer to 200g so it’s a chunk, but the 231 wears much smaller than either the SD4K or the newer Seamaster for me. My wrist is 7.5 inches. Try it if you can! I also had a skin reaction to the 904 stainless steel, so unless I have a special strap it’s a no-go. Sad, right? I sold my Explorer I as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
