Got my first Rolex

I used to roll my eyes at all the watch junkies I knew. Didn’t understand them. Didn’t want to. The last watch I owned was 8th grade and it probably costs $30.

But I just received a most incredible gift. And I get it folks, I get it. Nothing like the weight and heft of one of these beauties.

I don’t know what I’m going to do with it. I’m not even sure best way to get it appraised. It’s awfully expensive to service and clean - and I’ve read mixed reviews as to whether you even should. (Or at least, don’t buff and replace any parts). Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
