Okay so this took a weird turn! I did not include the 1055 in the original question to the forum as I believed those to be sold out. The 683 was/is lovely but the movement was bothering me. I was really wishing the 1055, with in house movement, was available. So I reached out to Panerai USA and after a few days they told me they were getting the final 1055s in during the August/September time frame. So, I scooped it up. Should have the watch in a month or two!

But, the 1661 is still not dead to me. The Boutique won't be getting one until next January, but I may add it as well. I figure a 42mm Sub in khaki green, and a 44mm Luminor in black Carbotech are different enough that they can coexist in the collection.

Finally, back to having a PAM in the collection soon!
