Did I hurt my glidelock WD40 ?

I have a Hulk since 2011, and even though I also have a Smurf, and a 116600LN, I seem to always gravitate and wear my Hulk 90%+ of the time.

Anyway I had gained a little weight and working out with weights like when I was young, so I added a link back to the glidelock. I know the watch needs a service because the watch makes a noise like something loose when I rotate my wrist very quickly side to side, but since this is an unnatural movement I don’t do it.

Anyway.......glidelock has been getting stuck with one notch showing. It got stuck tonight and I was able to disengage it once, didn’t want to use too much force to unstick it. And then it got stuck again ! I decided to go into my garage and grab my WD40 and put a squirt with a WD straw like end. It now slides smoother, and disengages much easier, and locks into place easier.

Did I hurt anything ?
