Pelagos problem
All, I have my second Pelagos (now blue) and both have exhibited the same problem. I am already thinking it's me but would love your thoughts.
I wore both all day long doing some very active things (playing tennis and working out at the gym). Both stopped working during the night. I sent the black one to Rolex service and followed up with the tech rep and found they cleaned the works and returned it. Haven't used it since I purchased the blue one. I now wear that one every day all day. Low and behold it did the same thing...quit working during the night. I decided to wind it as I set it down and this time it quit in the morning at 6:15. I wear it on my left wrist being right handed and all I can guess is that I am not active enough to get it to wind. But then why did it quit when I wound it???? Two watches...both new, both showed no reserve power capabilities during the night. I did call Rolex again and of course they want the watch but 6 plus weeks to turn it around!!! |
