First sign of a problem?
I have a K series Sub Date and was planning to send it to Rolex for the "5 year" service this spring.
Because it runs about +6.5 sec. per day I re-set it to compensate for the time gained every other Monday morning. This past Monday after engaging the seconds hack I noticed that the minute hand was moving ever so slightly off of the minute to which I had set it. Second hand was still hacked but the minute hand was moving just a bit. Once I pushed the crown back in it ran/runs and keeps time as it always has. Any of our experts know what's going on there? Should I go directly to service, do not pass go?!? |
