Medical Confusion

Two superior Consultants are walking along the hospital corridor deep in discussion.

One said “It is W - O - O - M."

“No,” said the other, “It is W - O - O - M - B."

“No, no, no you silly, silly man, it is W - O - O - M !”

“W - O - O - M - B !”

They pass a Senior Ward Sister who can not help but overhear.

“Excuse me. I can not believe that neither of you know. The word is spelt W – O – M - B. Womb.”

The consultants pause, look at each other, then one of them says:-

“With all respect madam, we doubt you have ever seen a Hippopotamus in the wild, never mind know what sound it makes farting underwater.”
