Can someone help inform me a little on this subject? I went in my favorite jewelry shop and they had this there. Tag reads 1983 model, but I was unable to get the serial to verify, but will if I decide to buy. Band seemed stretched and loose, but honestly, I was thinking if I bought Id like to put a black band of some kind on it. I have seen a few pics here of what appeared to be a rubber or cloth style band (excuse the newbness, I am just entering this world of Rolex watches). What are some things I should know about these older watches, and what should I look out for? Any idea on a rough value? I will share the asking price after a few comments are made, just curious on what the estimated value is.
