Tudor Oyster Regent 7903 Questions

Hi, I purchased this from a watch repair guy 15 years ago for $125.00 after he rebuilt/serviced it. Hand wound, non-hacking, and keeps accurate time. About 1-2 days of reserve. Looks much less scratch free in person. Crystal is plastic, clear w/out crazing or flaws. Added generic screw down crown.

Does anybody know how old it is, what its worth, why it doesn't say "shock resisting," when all others examples do, and what's a really striking replacement band?
Looking at Camille Fournet but wondering if it should be more subtle. Suggestions? Thanks.
