Available for sale is a 1953 Rolex Datejust with original red datewheel reference 6105. This watch is a large 36mm Bubbleback which is unusual and is the perfect to be worn today. This watch shows signs of wear on the case and dial, we believe the dial has been touched up or refinished. This example has a serial 173371 dating to 1953. Why buy a more modern gold 36mm date just when you can buy a really cool one from the 1950s for nearly the same price!

Bezel: Original 18K Yellow Gold Rolex smooth which shows signs of honest previous wear

Dial/Hands: White Rolex dial with signs of patina and age, dial has either been touched up or refinished, we are unsure. The dial is more attractive than the photos as the crystal has signs of scuffs which are NOT on the dial. Hands appear to be all original and are attractive.

Caseback: 18Karat Yellow Gold Rolex Caseback with an engraving. This would be easy to polish off though we kept it all original.

Movement: Rolex automatic movement, service history unknown. We left this piece unserviced to allow the buyer to decide where they will service or note. We recommend the watch be serviced to keep time

Bracelet/Strap: High quality aftermarket brown leather band, our cost was about $80.

Crystal: Original plastic showing signs of marks or scuffs
