Rolex Datejust 1601 vs 1603

Hello everyone. I've seen a lot of vintage datejusts especially the 1601 and 1603. I personally love both of the bezels. The white gold and engine turned bezels both appeal to me. I just wanted to ask and see what everyone else thought of the two models and the differing bezel materials?
