Surprised to hear that there's a waitlist - just over a year ago I tried on one of the discontinued 40mm watches in a (sadly now defunct) London AD. It had been sitting there for at least two years.

How large is your wrist if I may ask since I also consider one, having a smaller wrist myself. Largest watch I can wear is a 40mm 116710.
I guess you tried a 42mm though.
