FS: New Tudor North Flag 91210N on bracelet, full set
For sale is a Tudor North Flag 91210N in new condition, full set w/ bracelet. All stickers are intact, bracelet is unsized, and warranty card is dated Feb. 2021 (but please see my note below about the warranty).
I've been on the fence about whether to keep this watch and start putting some miles on it, given that I've been wearing a BB58 every day. However, I will say that I've been pleasantly surprised by how the North Flag wears smaller than expected. Although its case width is 40mm (second picture on this post is with the BB58, for size comparison), its listed lug-to-lug distance of 50mm initially gave me pause (same distance as the Pelagos, which I gave up on because I found it a little large for a daily). However, the sharp angled downturn of the lugs helps in this regard - the watch wears like its lug-to-lug distance at the top of the case (42mm), rather than the bottom (50mm). In addition, the black ceramic ring around the bezel makes the case look thinner by breaking up its profile. In addition, the lugs act like an extension of the bracelet rather than the case. Although the case is ~25mm wide at the top of the lugs (at the angled turn), the bottom of the lugs is ~23mm, and the bracelet continues to taper down to 18mm at the clasp. On a side note, if you're interested in more strap options for the North Flag, it seems some people have had success using the rubber strap from the Pelagos (without the end links, it shares the 12mm width of the North Flag's bracelet). I'd also recommend looking into GasGasBones when his shop opens back up next week - he's got a nylon strap that takes nonstandard lug widths. As for the warranty - I bought this watch from a second-hand dealer here in Hong Kong (not an AD). If you look closely at the date on the warranty card, there seems to be a bit of smudging around the year. I don't want to jump to conclusions about this, but just wanted to point it out. Warranty data is all electronic these days, so best case it's just me being paranoid, and worst case the warranty on this watch is winding down or already expired. Price is $3450 firm. I will ship and insure via DHL, and I will also cover customs tax if you're in the US - all you're responsible for is any fees associated with the payment method you choose. That being said, I can flex on the price if you want to discuss less expensive shipping methods. I'm happy to get in touch to exchange references, and/or to get on a call to show the watch as well. |
