116233 vs new DJ
Hello friends,
Just looking for advice. I'm hankering for a two tone 36mm datejust. I prefer a silver dial, with white being a second runner up. I'd prefer a new watch, just because my previous experience with pre-owned has been mixed at best. Silver with sticks is not available on the 36mm at present time so buying it new is not an option. Conversely if I settled for a white dial I lose the concealed clasp which I like the look of. Option 1: Roll the dice and buy a used silver dial two tone. Option 2: Get a new white dial 36 mm, and learn to live with the oyster clasp. (Oyster clasp on jubilee looks jarring in my opinion). Option 3: Buy a 41 mm and get the dial I want on two tone, and deal with the oyster clasp. - I hate large watches, so probably not going to go with this option. I have a GS Blizzard that's 40 mm and although I love the watch, I find myself often wishing it was smaller at 38 or 36mm. Any thoughts / user experience on the oyster clasp with the adjustment vs the concealed clasp? I live in hot and humid Florida. Pictures from current DJ owners always welcome! Thanks in advance. |
