Shopping at Rolex AD with different stores

How does it work to shop at the same AD but at different stores? There are a few AD’s near me, but owned by the same owner. Is it to my benefit to try to build a relationship at multiple stores with multiple SA’s? It seemed that the various stores were allocated different pieces. Would it help my chances to build that relationship? I know my purchase history carries across the whole AD, but my thinking is that if each store is allocated different watches, it will help my chance to get the watch I want.
