50's DJ model 6535

I had written earlier about a Datejust my father in law had, with a serial number of 410350. At the time, I had not removed both sides of the band to see the model number.

A member posted that it was probably a 56 Datejust, probably a model 1601, due to the fact that it had a magnifier over the date, and an oyster band. It appears to be stainless steel.

After I finally removed the band, I found that it is a model 6535. It appears to be stainless, but all the model # cross references do not list a model 6535 DJ, but the 6535 is listed as a Oyster Date, but the watch dial says Datejust. Anyone want to comment? One site said something about a limited number of datejusts getting a better movement, used on a higher end model of the time. THanks in advance for letting me tap into this knowledge pool.
