On vacation I saw a ton of Rolexes but only one still rules them all
Just got back from a week long Turks and Caicos vacation and saw more Rolexes in the wild than I have seen in the previous 18 months.
Saw steel Daytonas, Ceramic Daytonas, 2 tone Daytonas, 6 digit subs galore (everyone and their dog had one), Datejusts, yachtmasters, OPs and a handful of Sea Dwellers. A lot of people looked like their 6 digit subs were wearing them. Way too big on their wrists and extremely blingy. Only one watch really blew me away because it looked so perfect…it was the old, humble king, the 16610…It just looked like an amazing watch rather than an amazing piece of jewelry that also happens to be a watch To the 16610. Long live the king!!! |
