Opinions required: buying watch dial

I guess I am becoming a dial hoarder

Recently I managed to source the diamond baguette dial for my platona.

My local RSC do not mandate dial swap or keeping old dial in case of buying new one.

Recently I acquired the white gold Pepsi with metiorite dial. I absolutely love that dial.

Now I am contemplating buying the blue dial not to swap the metiorite dial but just to keep it for future residual value just in case that dial gets discontinued.

Of course I will keep both dials, what do you think about this idea?

To be honest I am taking this step purely for investment reasons.

All Opinions are welcome
