Okay, whatever. Word-for-word I am probably incorrect in some facet of the repositioning arguement. However, the perception of the product shifted in my mind (and others) based upon the general feeling that came from the communication. As a marketing professional myself, it is what the audience takes from the communication (ie impact) as opposed to clinical word-for-word spiel that if washes over the intended audience, is ineffective and therefore irrelevant as a communication from the brand.

Anyhow, there are greater worries in life than to get drawn into these types of debates. Rolex suggested along the line in Basel that 36mm will now be the womans range, or will offer a womans line in the 36mm ('Unisex' then if it makes you feel better).

Good input though
