Rounding up to the nearest mm is fine, but marketing a 39 mm OP as a 41 is just blatant misrepresentation IMO.

As for 38 being perfect they can't make every model in 5 or 6 different sizes. They have a 36 and they have a 39.4. So if 38 is good for you we are only talking about 1.4mm difference here. I think most people are happy with one or the other. It wasn't real long ago that 36 was the largest they offered in a Datejust so I'm thrilled that folks like me with larger wrists at least have a larger option.
I hear ya, but they have made changes to the Sub size recently, the OP 41 size last year. I think they wouldn't be out of line making the 36 to 38mm...If not for the fact that 36mm is so classic... but so was the sub at 40mm.

I can wear 36mm, but the date just feels a tad small, even for me. I would bust down the doors for one in 38mm. Right now I'm being very non-comittal between the 36 and 41 and change my mind daily (since the Exp 39 has been discontinued). Not that I can get my hands on either anytime soon. I have tried both on in the past though, and as I mentioned, I was surprised at the 41...

But... I only did give it a try because I read on TRF here that it wasn't actually 41mm... so there's that.
