I never really entertained the idea of buying a Patek or Lange, but the 136.029 that David has for sale seems to be a good price. I could sell my 116500 (retail at AD) and put a little cash with it or sell the 116500 and my 16622 YM and have it pretty much covered. The only other Rolex I have is a BLNR.
I know Lange doesn’t hold value great, but it is at the top of the heap horologie wise. What do you think? It would be a great opportunity for me to get a watch that retails for $56,100 and only have roughly 20k in it.
I will always have a plan to add the Daytona back when/if I can get one at retail.
