Quick opinion poll..

Given all the threads on dial swaps and colour changes, what’s the opinion on the ongoing value of the watch. Am I right in thinking if an RSC changes the dial this should have no negative bearing on ongoing value? An example would be the 40mm RG day date. If RSC changes a white dial for example to the Olive dial, would this watch then appraise at olive dial values? Or would this be a negative as sometimes seen in aftermarket dials? I appreciate the reference numbers do not distinguish between dial colours but for provenance does this matter? Genuinely interested in thoughts!
