Are Tudor or their Dealers Orchestrating an Upcharge?

Today I visited 2 Tudor dealers to enquire about a BB58 on a bracelet.

At both dealers it was suggested to me I could buy the BB58 in a very short time if I opt for a Nato or Leather strap as they were mainly receiving them from Tudor in this configuration.

They then suggested that a bracelet could be obtained from Tudor shortly after and I would have both straps.

I declined as I have plenty of leather and nato straps and the watch is not worth a thousand dollars more to me.

Wondering if Tudor are deliberately sending out their most popular watches on leather and nato straps then profiting from selling the bracelet separately?

Given the bracelets seem to be readily separately available it's not a scarcity issue.

Or maybe it is poor market research on the most desirable configuration of the watch by Tudor?
