I would hope that hardly anybody would have to use the warranty during the 5 year period. If it was a common thing, the product wouldn't be very good.
As to "5 years doesn't seem long enough" A warranty is for manufacturing defects, not wear and tear repairs. If you break it during the 5 years, or any other length of time, this would not be warranty repairs.
