Wait time for replacement oysterflex?

I picked up a new Daytona OF and my wrist (8 1/4”) is way too big for the standard strap length. AD telling me 2 weeks plus and I’m annoyed . Finally got my dream watch and it’s been in a watch roll for two weeks.

Is this a typical lead time? Seems crazy they can’t source them faster.
