Buying a bracelet just for the clasp?

Per my inquiry, my AD is offering me a brand new EXP 1 39mm bracelet at list, from which I would take the flip lock clasp and install it on my OP39.

I would apparently need to keep my original clasp to re-install on the OP39 in the event I need to get it serviced by Rolex, as according to the AD, they won’t touch it with the wrong clasp. What a goofy rule…

Anyhow, do I have any hope of recouping any meaningful amount of my $ by selling the links and end pieces of the unused EXP 1 bracelet?
