New green watch!!

I was lucky enough to pick up a new 126610LV from my AD today. While I was checking out, one of the sales people (not my SA) scanned the outer box, then tore the box into a bunch of pieces. I figured she was going to get me another one and didn't think much of it, but when I got home there wasn't an outer box.

Obviously, not a big deal since I'm keeping the watch, but I have a bit of OCD and keep all the boxes of my watches. Do you think this was a fluke or are AD's doing this now for some reason?
