oysterquartz service

Hello all!

I was hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction of servicing my oysterquartz. I have a beautiful 5 mill serial 17013 which I love(first luxury watch/first rolex) that I left without a battery for a year or so and upon replacing it doesn't operate the way it should. It keeps perfect time if it's not on my wrist, but if I wear it it will lose time quickly. I really don't know much about servicing these and was hoping I could find someone to not destroy it.
