Surprise offering while shopping…. turned it down

Some of my friends told me I could’ve bought it, held onto it, and flipped it a few months later as it’s a hot piece

Did I make a mistake turning this down?

If you already on the list for an SS model then your chances of getting it sooner than you’d expect are big with that AD.
