Buying a Rolex Datejust
I’ve been thinking of adding to my collection and gave up on buying a blnr at retail. I went to my local AD that knows me. I also bought a BB58 from him 3 years ago.
I asked him if I could get a 36 mm with stick indices fluted bezel on either a blue, black, or silver dial. He goes into the back and shows me the watch only in the Wimbledon dial configuration. I thank him but pass since it wasn’t the color I wanted. Is buying a datejust possible or am I completely out of luck on buying anything from an AD with minimal purchase history? How often should I follow up with him by stopping buy? |
