New to Me Day-Date 36
Hi all,
I have been fascinated with the Arabic numeral radial-dial for some time now. I have also wanted a Day-Date for some time now as well. I thought I wanted a Day-Date 40; but tried it on recently at an AD (dummy display model) and it was too big, too much for me. I had reached out to a few resellers (Bob's Watches and DavidSW) but they didn't have any nor could they commit to sourcing one. I was perusing WatchBox's page (rarely check their Rolex as their inventory tends to skew older models. Based on SKU and the fact Tim Mosso's YT page had just put out a review of the watch, I believe it had just been listed. I do admit, I thought I would get a DD on a President's bracelet, but with an older model, was concerned about stretch in the bracelet so getting it on an Oyster wasn't a dealbreaker for me; and also like the idea that this version isn't as common (smooth bezel and Oyster vs fluted with a President's bracelet). |
