Was it an AD event or a Rolex event. Mine was a Rolex VIP event so I think wearing anything less then a Rolex might have been frowned upon. Especially since there were Rolex representatives there.

That being said if I was to wear a Rolex in a sea of rolex why not wear your most “special” watch? It’s definitely not my most expensive watch but it definitely is the watch I would say would be the most “rare” to see in the wild.
