Making the left handed GMT right handed

A lot of people are upset about the new Destro GMT specifically about the date being on the opposite side. However, it seems to me that Rolex's laziness in not keeping the date at three makes it relatively easy to convert to a right handed watch. Couldn't someone grab a black dial and date wheel from a right handed GMT, have them replaced, rotate the bezel 180 degrees and wear the watch upside down?

I attached side by side picks of the watch as is and upside down. My guess is that this would be a fairly easy change.

P.S. - excuse the average photoshop - not really my strong suit.
