Impressions of my new Platinum Daytona.
So after having my platinum Daytona for a couple of weeks, wanted to give my impressions.
Weight: definitely heavy but once placed on my wrist I really don’t notice the heft. Maybe it due to sitting lower on my wrist but I definitely can feel the weight of my WG sub more. Dial: the ice dial is stunning in the sunlight, love the solid color compared to the chestnut sub dials. It is unique to the Rolex lineup of dials Baguettes: not very blingy to me but meshes well with the dial. Color of Platinum: Platinum is definitely brighter than SS and WG. It stands out more than the other metals. Bezel: love the chestnut color and melds well with the ice dial. This watch is definitely my favorite of my collection. |
