Lag time between AD buys?
Owned and daily worn a Rolex 30+ years, mostly an old Sub, and far less, an early 16750.
Last AD purchase was 10 years ago, for my wife. Lately, I learned (Late Learner) about the wait lists, when I went in to look at a new Sub, and learned they had none for sale. So, in January, I got on the wait list for a Sub no-date. That led to this forum and learning about the current market. My “collection” consists of two watches and I’m never going to be a collector or flipper. It was just time to semi-retire the vintage watches and buy a new one. For those of you who have experienced these waits, did a long lag time equate to “no history” with your AD? Is 10 years the same as no history-even though I’m in their computer? (No sarcasm, satire or full moon this time). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
