I was at a birthday party and a friend's uncle saw I was interested in Rolexes. He said he lived in Alaska in the 1970's and his Seikos could not take the abuse of his hunting trips. So he went in and bought a brand new Rolex 1655 and that did the trick. He said it was currently in need of repair (this was 2005). He gets it from his drawer and it is an unpolished 1655 one owner watch missing a springbar or link or something . . . . I did the ethical thing and told him the value and not to let anyone replace or polish anything . . . . Explorer II was his answer!!!!!
