Rolex Sapphire Logo at 47-min. Mark Instead of 6 O’clock
I have SS Daytona and I just noticed that the Rolex logo that should normally be etched on the sapphire crystal at 6 o’clock is actually located at the 47-minute mark. Has anyone seen this before?
I suspect that might mean that the previous owner had the sapphire replaced, or otherwise tampered with. They did change the dial, I know that, but would the sapphire have to be removed in order to change the dial? Any help solving this mystery would be highly appreciated! |
