Give up the SS/Platinum YM for a SS Daytona?

I've been wanting a SS Daytona with white dial for awhile, but I wasn't willing to buy one until I try it on. The dilemma being is that I haven't been able to find one new or used in stock at an AD to try on.

So tphan was kind enough to meet me and let me try his on. My first impression was that it seems smaller than my YM even though they are the same size. I do like how the Daytona looks, but I am not sure if it's worth giving up my YM for it. (I am a one watch person.) The dilemma is which one looks better and is the Daytona really worth $10k USD?
