I often buy watches and then trade them.
I never buy with the intent to sell. My experience is, I seldom know a watch well enough to predict its future until I have it home and on my wrist. Along the journey there have been a couple of watches that only took a few hours to realize they weren’t right for me. Others may take a year before I accept it is not getting wrist time and realize it has to go. I’ve gotten better but can still be surprised by a watch once it lands on my wrist.
