Oysterflex size query

I'm looking to buy a friend's 2020 Yachtmaster ref 126655 in rose gold. He has Oysterflex size E fitted on both ends and wears it adjusted bang in the middle setting of the glidelock clasp.

My wrists are smaller than his and as such have it on my wrist presently with it set to the 2nd last notch. Although it fits fine I'm finding the clasp a little off centre towards the long side.

My question is if I swap the 6 o'clock side to a size D, which would effectively shorten the whole bracelet but would shift the clasp over to the short side, would there be enough adjustment to manoeuvre. I'd like to have at least 2 notches left over to adjust for wrist expansion.
