Thoughts on White Gold Sub (Blue)?

Hi all,

Still relatively new here. I've been interested in Rolex for some time and I'm drawn in by the scarcity value of the pieces and the secondary part about buying being a decent long term investment. So if I'm going to spend this kind of money on an indulgence at least I can have peace of mind about maintaining value.

I'm interested in building a my own collection, slowly and I made my first post here last week with my first purchase.

I was browsing around my ADs and chatting up and one told me they had a White Gold Blue Submariner (126619LB) available. It's a nice watch, but I do prefer the oystersteel variants of almost all the models.

It was available at MSRP, but that's a high price tag, but I'm not sure about the investment component of that type of watch. The gold versions of Subs and GMTs don't seem to be discussed too much and also not as difficult to find. But maybe I'm wrong.

Just interested in anyone's opinions.

Thanks in advance.
