Outgoing: Explorer 124270

This forum is ripe with “incoming posts” where the poster talks about their new acquisition, but there is never “Outgoing” posts about watches let go.

I think buying _and selling_ are both parts of a collector’s activity, so here I go.

I sold my Rolex explorer 124270 36mm.

This watch is beautiful, and I love its simplicity and size. This is the watch that made me realize that I like the look of 36mm cases better than 40mm. I can’t go back to 40mm watches now.

I sold it because I’m in the process of reconsidering my relationship with this hobby (but more on that in a later post).

PS. Yeah, not sure if this trend will catch on :silly:
