Any Explorer 124270 owners pull out the Easylink on wrist?

Hi everyone,

I recently picked up an explorer 124270. I had a link taken out, still, the best fit is when I put the watch on and then shorten the bracelet with the easy link 5mm extension.
When I want to take the watch off, though, it is impossible to do so without pulling the easy link extension out first.
I end up opening the latch then pulling out the clasp, and finally, holding the dial against my shirt or pant leg to pull the EasyLink extension out.
This isn't a huge deal, but want to know if anyone pulls the Easylink extension out on their 124270 before unhooking the latch to the bracelet.
Thanks for the insight.
