Icon5 Question about supposed Rolex found in late uncles watch box.

Recently my uncle was lost to a PTSD related suicide. Found in his closet was a small box with two watches kept in it.
I don’t know anything about Rolex or if this is even a real Rolex but found was this watch with a shattered crystal face. It’s believed this was bought by him sometime after he got back from Afghanistan.
I delicately kept the watch turned off and removed the crystal, but again I don’t know anything about watches.
Is this thing worth trying to get repaired or is it better off left to sit on a dresser?
Hoping you enthusiasts here can give me some more insight

I’m going to try to put an image in the replies
