Landing an Unexpected Navitimer

Over the weekend, my wife and I walked by a Breitling Boutique and decided to stop in to take a look. We had no intentions of buying anything, but the Navitimer has always been a watch that has been on my bucket list. The sales associate graciously showed us a few pieces, including the reverse panda dial that my wife really liked, and we left the store. Later that day, I received a text and picture from the sales associate about how he should have shown me the 747 edition that just came out—given my enthusiasm for aviation. I hadn’t yet heard about the release, but the 747 is my favorite aircraft type, and I have fond memories of flying on the upper deck on trips to Asia growing up. I also loved the dial combination. We managed to make it back to the store 2 minutes before closing to take a look in person.

I’m happy to present my first Navitimer! Caution wake turbulence 😂
