Can watch cushion stretch TT Oyster bracelet?

Hi,
I received as a gift a Wolf Design watch winder for my new TT Sub and thanks to people on this board was able to figure out how to put watch so that it doesn't fall out when winder does its thing. The trick consist of picking next size of a foam filled cushion. Cushion is then compressed and watch, with a clasp closed, slips over it at which point cushion is let to expand. Extra height of the cushion expands enough to the sides to allow for secure fit in the winder's socket when rotated.

But of course now I'm worried about stretching the sensitive TT Oyster bracelet on my "tool" watch :(
