In Commemoration of Bastille Day, July 14 (14e Juillet)
Today is the French national holiday, Bastille Day, which commemorates the storming of the Bastille (prison) in 1789. Here in Philly, the holiday is commemorated by gathering at Eastern State Peneteniary and throwing Tastykakes (local, much-loved pastries).

Aujourd'hui nous nous souvenons de la Bastille. Voici l'hymne nationale francaise. Vive la France!
