I just learned that I will have to move to Edinburgh soon. I would like to know which neighbourhoods are hip right now?

I want to live somewhere cool and elegant at the same time. Not 100% "poshy" since I don't want to die from boredom. Preferably a neighbourhood close to the center.

Some people have suggested Leith, which seems to have a lot of artists, designers and architects leaving there. Sounds similar to my social circle here, but I think it is far away from the center.
