A Lange & Sohne pocket watch - any experts who can lend information?

Any ALS experts out there who can help me with info about this pocket watch.

A coworker (our IP director) knows im into watches, so he sent me this pic with the below text:

“It’s an A. Lange & Sohne pocket watch that my great grandfather bought in Geneva c. 1885. It still works. Here’s a picture.”

I asked him for pics of the movement and hallmarks, but haven’t received them yet.

Questions -
1. Is this c 1885?
2. Any idea of value? He’s considering letting it go.

Just trying to help him out. Thanks for responses.
